For Tasmanians, the familiar journey along Holyman Avenue into Hobart Airport can conjure memories of warm hellos and heartfelt goodbyes, of early morning drop offs, business trips or new adventures.

As the main entrance point to Tasmania’s busiest gateway, the iconic road now plays host to Tasmania’s largest and highest resolution LED screen, giving Tasmanian businesses a new platform to showcase their products and services.

With more than 2.6 million people travelling through the airport gates each year, the sign represents a substantial advertising investment for the state and further cements our commitment to helping Tasmanian businesses reach new audiences.

The $180,000 project commenced in September 2018 and, despite challenges posed by the location and size of the structure, was completed two months later in November.

The LED screen began showcasing advertisements the day after installation and will continue to serve Tasmanian businesses for years to come.
